This ESP-TM2 controller seems well made and was easy to replace my 30-year-old Rain Bird controller. Zone 1 had stopped working. After labeling wires and removing old controller, I measured each solenoid at about 50 ohms, neither short nor open. After installing new ESP-TM2 controller all zones work great.
