Kirby can jump a total of 5 times in the air, which makes it better at both recovering and attacking with aerials. Kirby also has a small body, so it can easily dodge a variety of attacks. Kirby's quick frame data allows it to wiff punish opponents and follow up with a variety of combos. Learning Kirby's standard combos are helpful. If you are lucky, at 0% you can chain. F-throw > U-Air > reverse U-Tilt > B-air. Especially on a character like DK. I've been playing melee for a bit over a year now and a few months ago i made the (awful) decision to pick Kirby as my main. As such most of the top tiers are a pain to fight against but i've managed to adapt to most of them and can reasonably not get rocked on unranked (Fox is kinda iffy but i feel it's more cause i'm running into better players than me, than a matchup issue)Aegis has the speed and range to constantly keep Jiggs out. Not to mention how light she is, meaning Pyra, and even Mythra to an extent, have no trouble killing her, which is helped by the aforementioned range. That said, edgeguarding is still somewhat of a factor.
