I discovered that by disabling the nvidia geforce overlay, or nvidia share, or whatever you call it, i received a huge boost to stability. Reprojection was down to 0.8% after a 30 minute session. I can't promise this will work for you, or if it's simply a fluke, but I suggest giving it a try. You can disable the overly in geforce experience

6y. The only thing you can do right now is hide the game right next to the play button on GFE. Then uncheck the box that says to automatically optimize newly added games. (where you set the scan location) It will stay hidden until you manually put it back in the list. Then just optimize the games showing. That would be my solution.
